# Quick start

From installation to your first camera on screen — no more than 5 minutes.

## 1. Install Yucca

Choose your OS in the [«Installation»](https://yucca.app/en/docs/install.md) section and run a couple of commands in the terminal — Docker Compose, a deb/rpm package, or a binary archive, depending on your platform.

## 2. Initialize the server

On first launch, open the web interface and create an administrator account — see [«Server initialization»](https://yucca.app/en/docs/guides/Initialization.md).

## 3. Add a camera

Connect your first IP camera via RTSP or ONVIF — see [«Adding a camera»](https://yucca.app/en/docs/guides/AddCamera.md).

## 4. Install the mobile app

Watch your cameras and get notifications on your phone — the app is available on Google Play, RuStore, and as an APK, with links on the [documentation home page](https://yucca.app/en/docs/old/welcome.md).
