# Archive

Basic functionality available in all versions; its operation in the paid version does not differ from the free version. The simple and intuitive navigation interface requires no special instructions to get started.

## Overview

When configuring a stream, the recording depth is set in hours, and the current hour is not counted during rotation. Archive recording triggered by an event is also available, but this requires [additional configuration](https://yucca.app/en/docs/guides/smtp.md) on the camera side.

In the navigation bar you can see the available (green) and unavailable (red) archive segments, as well as *time that hasn't happened yet* (gray).

You can use the buttons on the panel or the mouse wheel to navigate.
