ALT Linux
Recommendations for a large number of cameras
If you plan to run more than 10 cameras with motion detection enabled, we recommend using PostgreSQL as the database, as it is more performant.
Installation
To install on ALT Linux and its derivatives, run the following commands in the terminal:
- Yucca Free
- Yucca Plus / Enterprise
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y apt-repo
sudo apt-repo add rpm https://code.tuna.am/api/packages/yucca/alt/stable.repo $(arch) classic
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y yucca
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y apt-repo
sudo apt-repo add rpm https://code.tuna.am/api/packages/yucca/alt/stable.repo $(arch) classic
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y yucca-ent
Switching between editions
Both editions install the same /opt/yucca/yucca file, so remove the installed package before switching editions — see the "Removal" section below. Your data in /opt/yucca/data and the /opt/yucca/yucca.toml configuration are kept.
Verifying it works
After installation and startup, the WEB interface will be available at http://your-server-ip:9910 . If the interface is unavailable after installation, check the service status and view the server logs:
sudo systemctl status yucca
sudo journalctl -f -u yucca
