# Docker Compose

> **Dependencies.** Install [Docker](https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/); a quick way to install it on Linux:

## Installation

Copy the following into a `docker-compose.yaml` file:

**Yucca Free**

```shell
---
version: "3.8"

networks:
  yucca_network:

volumes:
  yucca_data:

services:
  yucca:
    image: yuccastream/yucca:latest
    restart: on-failure
    shm_size: "128mb"
    volumes:
      - "yucca_data:/opt/yucca/data"
    networks:
      - yucca_network
    ports:
      - 9910:9910 # Web UI
      - 9912:9912 # Telemetry
      - 1025:1025 # SMTP server
    environment: {} # Configuration parameters can be found here https://docs.yucca.app/configuration/

**Yucca Plus / Enterprise**

## Startup

> **Info.** On Windows, to run the command open **PowerShell** and navigate to the directory with the `docker-compose.yaml` file

```shell
docker compose up -d

```

## Verifying it works

After installation and startup, the WEB interface will be available at **<http://your-server-ip:9910>** . If the interface is unavailable after installation, check the service status and view the server logs:

```shell
docker compose ps -a 
docker compose logs -f yucca

```

## Update

```shell
docker compose pull
docker compose up -d

```

## Removal

> **Warning.** This command removes the container and the data volume — all data, including the video archive, will be deleted.

docker compose down -v

```
