System requirements

We support builds for Linux (amd64, arm64, arm), FreeBSD (amd64, arm64, arm), and macOS (amd64, arm64). Running on Windows is also possible, but requires WSL support in Docker.

Running Yucca requires only the following resources:

1. CPU (processor) — 1 core
2. RAM (memory) — 512 MB.
3. DISK (free disk space) — 1 GB.

Recommendations for a large number of cameras

If you plan to run more than 10 cameras with motion detection enabled, we recommend using PostgreSQL as a more performant database.
