# SUSE/OpenSUSE

> **Recommendations for a large number of cameras.** If you plan to run more than 10 cameras with motion detection enabled, we recommend using PostgreSQL as the database, as it is more performant.

## Installation

To install on SUSE or openSUSE, run the following commands in the terminal:

**Yucca Free**

```shell
sudo zypper addrepo https://code.tuna.am/api/packages/yucca/rpm/stable.repo
sudo zypper --gpg-auto-import-keys refresh gitea-yucca-stable
sudo zypper install -y yucca
```

**Yucca Plus / Enterprise**

```shell
sudo zypper addrepo https://code.tuna.am/api/packages/yucca/rpm/stable.repo
sudo zypper --gpg-auto-import-keys refresh gitea-yucca-stable
sudo zypper install -y yucca-ent
```

> **Switching between editions.** Both editions install the same `/opt/yucca/yucca` file, so remove the installed package before switching editions — see the "Removal" section below. Your data in `/opt/yucca/data` and the `/opt/yucca/yucca.toml` configuration are kept.

## Verifying it works

After installation and startup, the WEB interface will be available at **<http://your-server-ip:9910>** . If the interface is unavailable after installation, check the service status and view the server logs:

```shell
sudo systemctl status yucca
sudo journalctl -f -u yucca
```

## Update

**Yucca Free**

```shell
sudo zypper install -y yucca
```

**Yucca Plus / Enterprise**

```shell
sudo zypper install -y yucca-ent
```

## Removal

**Yucca Free**

```shell
sudo zypper remove -u yucca
```

**Yucca Plus / Enterprise**

```shell
sudo zypper remove -u yucca-ent
```
