# High CPU utilization at idle

> **Info.** If you need expert help to resolve this or any other issue, please review our **[technical support](https://yucca.app/en/docs/support.md)** terms and conditions

## Description

In release 0.5.0, when installing from the [deb](https://yucca.app/en/docs/install/debian.md) package, the default configuration has an incorrect value for the [`stats_collection_interval`](https://yucca.app/en/docs/configuration.md#stats_collection_interval) parameter — *0s* instead of *1s*. This bug can cause high CPU utilization by the Yucca server even without any real load. The issue is tracked as [#742](https://gitlab.com/yuccastream/yucca/-/issues/742)

## Solution

Set a value of *1s* or higher:

```bash
[server]
stats_collection_interval = "1s"
```

This should resolve the issue.

In versions newer than 0.5.0, the correct value is already set by default, and this issue should not occur.
