Setting up motion detection by email on Hikvision / HiWatch cameras

Open the camera's web interface with administrator rights.

Go to the settings section Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Email

Specify the connection details – SMTP Server, SMTP Port, Sender's Address, and add a Receiver. The last 2 must match. If authorization is enabled in the SMTP server settings, specify the username and password, and also enable Authentication. Click Test. If everything is correct, you'll see a message that it was sent successfully Succeed, and in the yucca logs a message about the created event:

And a yellow marker will appear in the corresponding camera's progress bar.

Next, you need to enable motion detection itself. Go to the settings section Configuration > Event > Basic Event > Motion Detection. Enable the feature in the Enable Motion Detection option, and in the Linkage method tab, enable Send Email as a notification type.
